Ministries

Two of our church members in the Congo are working with local women in preparing a meal.

The Great Requirement

"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

Micah 6:8

The New Commandment

“The most important one [commandment],” answered Jesus, is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Mark 12:29-31

"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

Matthew 28:19

In this section you will find many ways to serve the Lord through through helping others in the church as a Stephen Minister. You can serve in a worship ministry (sing in the choir, usher, be an acolyte or a greeter). You can work to "Change the World" through our Outreach Ministry which has many opportunities in the local community, nearby big cities and in global missions.  You can reach out to local college students through the Wesley Foundation.  There are many ways to serve.  Find something that calls your name and become a servant in minstry.
