"Sing!" the current Chancel Choir members call to any of you who have considered joining but have hesitated to step out Wednesday night! Singing church music is God's gift to open the soul, to build community, and to know the joy of creating something genuinely new. Singing together is prayer - it helps us express ourselves to God and helps us to hear God's voice - and it is a practice of faith that helps us to mature spiritually into the likeness of Christ. If you have any questions or would like to know more about singing in the choir, please contact Hyosang Park at hyosang(at)princetonumc.org
All are invited to sing with the Chancel Choir this fall. Chancel Choir rehearsals are held at 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. The Chancel Choir will lead worship primarily at the 11:00 service with additional other services as well. Singing with this dedicated group of people is an act of discipleship that is both spiritually rewarding and just plain fun. All levels of ability are welcome!
The Chancel Choir is getting ready to give another concert in April. They will perform "The Seven Last Words of Christ" by Theodore Dubois. The concert will be on April 6th (Good Friday) at 7:30 pm. If you would like to be a part of the concert, please come join the Chancel Choir starting on February 8th. If you are interested and would like to have a copy of the music before the first rehearsal, contact Hyosang at hyosang(at)princetonumc.org or just come to choir practice on February 8th
